eLearning Programs
Interactive web-based awareness programs designed to provide Albertans opportunities to gain awareness and knowledge in various occupational health and safety topics. Selected programs are available on CDs or as downloadable files for off-line use. -
Industry Initiatives
Each industry sector has specific hazards and issues to be considered. Occupational Health and Safety works with stakeholders to develop initiatives and resources that are designed for certain industries. -

Work Safe Alberta and co-sponsored awareness campaign information. -
Young Workers
This section provides access to in formation specifically developed for new and young workers, as well as general health and safety information.
The Work Safe Alberta Best Safety Performers Award has been discontinued. We are currently reviewing the department’s occupational health and safety awards program.

Occupational Health and Safety Council
The OHS Council is an administrative body, which operates arms length from government. The Council advises the Minister on OHS matters and serves as an appeal body for orders issued by Occupational Health and Safety.
