There are assessment and referral centres around the province. These centres provide important referral information about programs. The Calgary and Edmonton centres’ websites also have ESL Directories that list course information.

Adult English as a Second Language Programs in Edmonton and Calgary (ESL)

ESL services or classes may also be available from Community Adult Learning Councils or Volunteer Tutor Adult Literacy Programs.

These organizations offer professional support to English as a Second Language teachers in Alberta and support national standards in ESL programming.
