Part-Time Study

Our Ministry offers the Skills Investment Bursary to eligible individuals attending part-time training. The bursary is designed to help with costs associated with training. To be eligible for a Skills Investment Bursary, an individual is assessed based on the eligibility criteria. The maximum training benefit amount issued under the Skills Investment Bursary is $5,000 per year.

To be eligible for funding as a part-time learner, an individual (and their spouse/partner) must not have combined incomes exceeding the yearly income threshold level (See Income Threshold below).

If you are considering taking a part-time course, you may be eligible for funding. Before you apply for Part-Time Training benefits, find out about eligibility requirements and benefits available to you.

Application

The applications have been redesigned so they can be completed online. The new applications will assist users in filling in the information required. The forms can be saved on a personal computer while being completed. Completed applications go through a verification process before they can be printed and signed. We do not accept applications submitted online.
