Training for Work
Training for work provides full and part-time occupationally focused training opportunities to enable clients to get a job, substantially improve their employment situation or adapt to changing labour conditions and skill requirements in order to sustain employment.

Aboriginal Training Programs
Supports the development of partnerships between the private sector, government, First Nations, Métis and other Aboriginal communities and groups. -
Alberta Job Corps (AJC)
Helps Albertans with the opportunity to work and earn a wage while learning reliable employment skills. -
Disability Related Employment Supports
Provides assistance to Albertans with disabilities to help them address the barriers to employment created by their disability. -
Occupational, Integrated and Workplace Training
Occupationally focused training that may be integrated with applied academics and general employability skills. -
Self-Employment Program
Designed for Albertans who are unemployed and in need of self-employment training to participate in the labour market. -
Summer Temporary Employment Program (STEP)
The Summer Temporary Employment Program (STEP) provides temporary employment opportunities during the spring and summer months. -
Transitional Vocational Program
Provides post-secondary training to adults with mild developmental disabilities to help them prepare for the world of work and independent living.
