Alberta's Office of Statistics and Information (OSI) consolidates official statistics and other key government data, making information about the province available to Albertans in a user-friendly format. Having ready access to high-quality data and statistics will help government, business and the general population make better informed decisions.

 

What is the Office of Statistics and Information (OSI)?

The OSI is a government-wide service. By building upon the collective experience and skills of individual ministries, we will be able to provide a range of statistical products to meet the needs of Albertans and the Alberta government.

OSI legislation

The Office of Statistics and Information Act was proclaimed on June 3, 2009, recognizing the OSI as the official provincial statistical agency for Alberta.
